§ 7-11058. Sanitation requirements.

  • All carriage companies shall be issued a copy of, and shall comply with the standard operating procedures relating to clean-up, the original of which will be maintained in the office of the tour vehicle coordinator. Any spills or manure will be removed by the carriage operator. All spills must be marked with a water-soluble nontoxic marker at the time of the spill to allow for more effective clean-up. Spillage or manure not removed by the operator will be removed by the city, the cost of which will be borne by the operator on duty when reported. All horse-drawn carriages will have diaper bags appropriately attached and in good condition while operating on the streets in the City of Beaufort.
