The burning of trees, brush, and undergrowth on land within the corporate city limits
of Beaufort, where such land has been cleared for development will be allowed. Also,
the burning of forest lands for agricultural control of disease, weeds, pests, and
other specific agricultural purposes such as clearing an area for regeneration or
game management. All such burning shall comply with the fire department, DHEC S.C.
Air Pollution Control Regulation No. 61-62.2 and the South Carolina Forestry Commission.
